How to fix wifi problem on android smart phones(obtaing ip address)

Heres the problem:When you try to connect your android phone to WiFi router it gets struck at Obtaining Wi-Fi address and get disconnected.

The process was:Obtaining IP Address→ Disconnecting →Scanning
It was a strange thing for me but later I solved this problem successfully. Follow the steps given below carefully to fix that error.

Reason:
I don’t know the exact reason behind this, but it might be a bug in Android. I have seen many people getting this problem, and it gets kind of annoying when the problem does not gets fixed even after restarting the device.

I have listed all the possible solutions for this problem, hope one of this may help you.

First Solution

First of all, you must restart your Wi-Fi router and see if that helps. Many people say that resetting the phone to factory state works but that’s not an appropriate solution. Wi-Fi Fixer is an amazing Android app that can help you here. The app resets your Wi-Fi system files (same as when you reinstall the Wi-Fi drivers in Windows, or you disable and enable the Wi-Fi adapter) and services and helps you to connect to the network and obtain the IP address..
Wiring fixer is the great software prepared only for solving all wifi problems on your android smart phone.

Second solution

This error may be due to the WiFi router couldn’t assign the IP address for Android mobile or Android Tablet.

If you know the range of IP address the router is broadcasting, you may configure your Android to use static IP address while connecting to the network.

* To solve it, go to settings and select Wireless and Networks.
*Turn on the WiFi and enter into WI-Fi settings.
* After that Press the Menu button on your Android select Advanced option.

*You will be carried to WiFi advanced Settings for Assigning Static IP Address, Gateway, Netmask and DNS.
* Pick the Static IP and assign the values.

Helpdesk: to get the values,
* go to run.
*type cmd
*in cmd type ipconfig, then the values of your static ip address, gateway and netmask will be shown to you.

Example values:

192.168.1.107 > It is not compulsory to put 107 you can put values between 0 to 255 instead of 107. Make sure there shouldn’t be any IP address conflict when you put IP address.

Gateway : 192.168.1.1

Netmask : 255.255.255.0

DNS 1 : 8.8.8.8

DNS 2 : 8.8.8.4

It is recommended to use the Google DNS server given here or else you may use the DNS which is provided by your ISP.

Hope your problem is solved now if not then let me know through comments.

Third solution:

Download WiFix from Google Play but it is not highly recommended because thats not much effective in solving this problems by its own but similar like giving a manual settings to it as mentioned above in the second solution.

**you can download wifix and wifi fixer from google store for free of cost.
